To makes things easier we also arranged the transport, morning conferencing and buffet lunch at the 4* Thornton Hall Hotel and Spa. We negotiated special rates with the hotel and ensured the event exceeded expectations and came in well under budget. Being a competitive bunch, we were asked to score the activities to establish which team had finished the highest after 3 hours of activities. We also provided gold medals for the winning team and individual prizes for the top individuals at each activity.

Everyone had a fantastic time; the events and team building activities were great. It was exactly what we were looking for, everyone in the department is still talking about it! Again many thanks for the great afternoon, we thoroughly enjoyed our time with you all”. - Rachel Sinclair, SPL International

For several years Aim for the Sky has been entertaining LMH staff at venues across the North West. On this occasion we found ourselves inside Liverpool Anglican Cathedral. Taking full advantage of this incredible location, we setup a two-hour event that could rival even the Da Vinci Code! Our ultimate puzzle challenge took the teams all around this historic building, incorporating the many hidden rooms and unique features of the Cathedral. Whilst some pieces of the giant puzzle could be found through exploring the Cathedral and following the clues provided, other pieces could only be retrieved through the successful completion of our team challenges. Always great fun, the ultimate puzzle tests a team’s ability to work together, solve riddles, crack codes, complete challenges and beat the competition.

“Just wanted to thank you and your team for helping us to provide a wonderful team away day in beautiful surroundings – everyone loved you’re planned activities and the feedback has been 100% positive. I would certainly recommend you to colleagues planning a similar day” - Denise Hair, Liverpool Mutual Homes

Sophie’s Hen Weekend

Organising any hen or stag weekend is a challenge; particularly finding the right venue and activities. At Aim for the Sky, we’re always happy to help. We put Sophie in touch with a local hotel and Spa which was the perfect base for a relaxing weekend stay. As the girls were looking for something action packed and outdoors on the Saturday followed by a more relaxed activity on the Sunday we recommended quad biking and clay shooting followed by an indulgent cake decorating class. Its fair to say these hens excelled at all our activities, the scores on the shooting ranged from 21-27 out of 30, our instructor had a hard time keeping up with them on the quad bikes, and despite a few hangovers the cake decorating class was a great success!

“Thanks for such a brilliant weekend and making the organising of it a breeze. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, particularly our action packed day of quad biking and clay shooting! A special thanks to all your helpful and patient instructors”. - Sophie Talbot, Hen Party

Novartis - Team Away Day

We were contacted by Novartis who were looking for a suitable venue for a day’s conferencing and something fun to do afterwards. We suggested staying at Inglewood Manor as it was only a short distance away, has fantastic meeting facilities and award wining food at very competitive prices. Out of a list of possible options, the staff voted overwhelmingly in favour of duck herding followed by an archery tournament. As is usually the case, some excelled at the duck herding and made it look easy, whilst others sent the ducks off in all directions much to the amusement of their fellow colleagues! All did extremely well at the archery, which finished with a very close fought tournament. At the end of the day medals were handed out to the winning team on archery and the top individuals for the duck herding.

"Please thank your whole team for organising a great afternoon at Inglewood Manor. The duck herding was so much fun and everyone was amazed how well we all did on the archery! We look forward to seeing you all again soon”. - Jackie Murphy, Novartis
